When a package is shipped internationally, it may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and/or fees imposed by the destination country. These charges will typically be due once the shipped goods arrive at the country of destination. Such charges are not included in the product price or shipping and handling cost. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility as we are only charging the transportation fee for your order. Restrictions

Orders placed on Saturday may arrive on a Sunday with Royal Mail due to their 7-day-a-week service, otherwise, all weekend dispatched orders will arrive on Monday.

All orders made to a BFPO (British Forces Post Office) address must be delivered using Royal Mail as alternative couriers are unable to fulfil these shipments.
We can no longer ship batteries or devices containing batteries outside of the UK via Royal Mail. We can only ship these products via our Courier options available at checkout. These shipments are limited to 2 batteries per order.

We refuse any liability for seized goods or additional custom fees. You are responsible for any items once they have left the UK postal system.

We are unable to group two or more distinct orders placed separately and shipping fees will apply to each order.

If any orders are returned by the mail company due to an incorrect address, unfortunately you will incur additional delivery charges in order for us to re-ship your order.

In the unlikely event one or more of your e-liquids leak before taking delivery of your order, please let us know within 3 working days so we can promptly resolve any issues. If your liquid vessel has been breached, we would advise against use due to the risk of contamination.

Important Delivery Update

Due to recent changes in Royal Mail’s delivery policy, Aquavape can no longer offer Royal Mail Tracked Delivery on orders containing two or more batteries being shipped to certain regions.

This applies to orders including vape kits, prefilled kits, and standalone batteries.

Vapes are often powered by lithium-ion batteries, which are known to explode/ combust when damaged or charged incorrectly. Refer to our handy guide to help keep your vape batteries as safe as possible. 

Batteries

Use special caution when working with Li-ion cells, they are very sensitive to charging characteristics and may explode or burn if mishandled.  Make sure the user has enough knowledge of Li-ion rechargeable batteries in charging, discharging and assembly before use. Always charge in/on a fire-proof surface.

Never leave charging batteries unattended or charging overnight. Never continue to use an e-cigarette type device if you can feel the battery get hot. If your battery gets hot to the touch, or if it begins smelling: DO NOT USE IT ANYMORE. Let it cool down (1 hour) in a safe environment (outside preferably), and then dispose of correctly, or decide to return, if still under warranty. If your e-cigarette or device begins activating itself, immediately remove your atomiser and disconnect the battery.

DO NOT trust the battery, nor the atomiser anymore from this point on. This means never leave either of the components connected in your pocket, in your nightstand, or out of visibility where you can not immediately separate the two components. Read the information found at: www.batteryuniversity.com before purchasing. It is important to carry batteries properly, charge properly, and dispose of properly. ECIGW Ltd are not responsible for damage if there is any modification of the batteries/chargers in any form or shape (including pack making).

We recommend storing your batteries in plastic battery covers to stop them from coming into contact with other metals. Accidental contact between other batteries and metal items can cause a short circuit, putting the battery at risk of exploding. 

When storing your batteries you should ensure they are kept away from any metal items like coins, keys, and other batteries. Also make sure to keep your batteries out of direct sunlight and away from any flammable substances or materials like aerosols, and fabrics.

Vape Battery Charging

You should also take caution when charging your vapes battery, as using an incorrect/ damaged charger can also affect the battery. Check out our charging tips below:

• If your vape came with a cable you should always ensure you use the original cable, unless damaged. 

• Use a 5V/1A USB port.

• Avoid fast-charging wall adapters.

• Remove external batteries.

• Avoid extreme temperatures.

• Check the charger for damage and dirt before use. 

• Charge on a fireproof surface; concrete, stone, glass etc. 

Vape Coils

It is important to use a battery that is compatible with your vapes coils and mods(if applicable). Ohm`s Law is helpful when working out the battery wattage, coil resistance, and the vapes current. If any of these values are not within safe limits you may burn the coil, damage the battery, and cause the vape to be unsafe to use.
